Cinema@Tech is the collective title for a series of film and media-related activities headquartered in Georgia Tech’s School of Literature, Media, and Communication. Driven by a core group of faculty offering a wide variety of courses in Global and American cinema, in film history and theory, in animation and video production, Cinema@Tech sponsors film series throughout the year, provides links to media internships,  and affords students opportunities for independent film study and video production.

Students at Georgia Tech can earn a minor in Film Studies, while those enrolled in LMC’s undergraduate program can specifically focus their degree on a combination of film and media, including the opportunity for basic and advanced courses in video production. Students from LMC’s program have, additionally, advanced to graduate programs in both Film Studies and in Film/Media Production, including one who recently completed the prestigious American Film Institute’s graduate Director’s Program.
